THIS SERVICE IS IDEAL IF YOU : 
need help deciding on the name of your business and or checking if it is already in use and / or been trade marked or you need to trade mark the name yourself so nobody else can use it.
would like help understanding and deciding on the structure of your business and /or setting up your business as a Sole Trader or Partnership or registering as a Company at Companies House and SIC code to use, if and when you should register for VAT.
Need any Basic Partnership or Directors Agreement drawing up. ( Please see definition at bottom)
want help setting up a business bank account and methods to receive payments
want help with business address, domain/ email address /google business profile set up.
would like help setting up with all the admin side ie bookkeeping spreadsheets or apps.
 
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES : 
a signed and dated NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) sent to your email address before discussing your business. This is an agreement that states that I, Caroline Hodson, of Sunflower Compass will not discuss your business with others and/or use the information I have from you, for my own gain without your written and signed permission to do so.
a pre- arranged one hour phone or video call (whichever you prefer) so I can get a clear understanding of you, your situation, your business and exactly what you need from me.
I will then draw up and send you a list of everything you need from this service with time scales of when I'm going to do it.
I'll arrange days and times with you for any set up that needs your phone and /or email verification
Please note if you are going to be registering as a Company at Companies House, Companies House will charge £50 to register online or £75 by post. (This cost is not included in this service.)
I will then ensure you have access to all your log ins.
If I have created any spreadsheets for you, or set you up with any apps, I am more than happy to talk you through how to use them.
 
All of this, put together should mean you are ALL READY TO GO!
 
If you don’t have a printer and would like a printed version of any documents I have done for you,  just let me know, provide your address and I’ll send it to you in the post.
 
When you order this service I will try to contact you within at least 2 days, to arrange our phone / video meeting. Please ensure you enter your email and phone number and preferred contact method, days and times you may be available.

Definition of a Basic Partner or Director Agreement included in this service.
If you are going into business with someone, whether family, friend or a complete stranger it is incredibly important that you discuss, agree, and sign a document (ideally also signed by witnesses).  This is so that everyone has a clear understanding of their role in the business and proof of what was agreed.
 
Example of a few subjects you may want to discuss with any business partners and agree on-
- Maximum bank withdrawal / payment / promise without requiring the others consent.
- If one is going to / or ends up doing more work than the other or others, are they going to get paid more out of the business and if so at what rate and will this be invoiced or on the payroll
- If invested money into the business, at what point/level of profit will you /they see a return on that investment and if and when they start getting paid back.
- when you start seeing a profit , is everyone happy and able to use that profit to enhance and grow the business if required and at what point will you start drawing from the business.
-What happens if one of you becomes physically or mentally incapacitated or dies.
 
Depending on the circumstances and if need a a more detailed, legally termed agreement you will need a solicitor to draw it and witness signatures for you.
